How To Install Copper Bars On Marble?

May 22, 2021

Inlaid copper strips on marble can not only play a decorative role, but also fill in the gaps.

1. Choose copper bar profiles

There are many types of copper bars, the common ones are T-shaped copper bars, L-shaped copper bars and ordinary copper bars. Most of the copper bars installed in marble are T-shaped copper bars.

2. Copper strip cutting

According to the width of the gap between the marble slabs, the copper strips are cut and processed to facilitate better bonding between the copper strips and the marble.

3. Copper strip edging processing

After the copper bar is cut, the cutting surface is relatively rough, and the edge of the marble will not be very smooth. Not only the edge of the copper bar needs to be polished, but the edge of the marble must also be polished.

4, copper bar to pull the groove

After cutting, adjust the depth of the saw blade on the cutting table to cut the grooves. The new equipment can also process multiple grooves at a time. The groove depth is determined by the copper bar specifications, generally slightly larger than the copper bar bayonet size.

5. Polishing treatment

After polishing, the marble inlaid copper strips are polished. This not only makes the copper strips brighter, but also reduces the roughness of the copper strips and marble slabs.

6. Installation of copper bars

Adhesives are used to fix and bond the copper strips.
