Many people think that stainless steel will never rust. In fact, stainless steel has good corrosion resistance. The reason is that a passivation film is formed on the surface, which is in the form of a more stable oxide in nature. In other words, although stainless steel is oxidized according to different conditions of use, it is eventually oxidized. This phenomenon is usually called an eclipse.
How to clean it?
1. Wash the surface dust and dirt with weak soap and warm water
2. Wash the trademark and film with warm water and weak detergent. The adhesive components are scrubbed with alcohol or organic solvents.
3. If the surface is polluted by grease, oil, and lubricating oil, wipe the surface of the stainless steel with a soft cloth and then wash it with a neutral detergent or ammonia solution or a special detergent.
4. If acid is attached, rinse it with water immediately, then soak it with ammonia solution or neutral carbonated soda solution, and then wash it with neutral or warm water.
5. There are rainbow patterns on the surface of stainless steel, which are caused by excessive use of cleaning agents or oil. When cleaning, use warm water to wash them off.
6. The rust caused by dirt on the surface of stainless steel can be cleaned with 10% nitric acid or abrasive cleaning agent.
