How to install the skirting board:
The material of skirting board can be selected according to personal needs. For its installation, we can have the following options:
1. Flat wall installation:
This needs to be installed on the ground after the wall is slotted, and then the baseboard is installed, and then the wall is processed. Therefore, it is necessary to estimate the finished wall thickness in advance to ensure that it is perpendicular to the skirting board, which requires relatively high technical requirements for the installation master.
2. Wall-mounted installation:
This installation method is the simplest. After the wall and ground construction is completed, the skirting board is directly installed on the wall with nails or adhesives. The process is simpler and the construction is convenient. It can also be used for renovation of old walls.
3. Embedded installation:
The embedded skirting board needs to be slotted in the wall, and the skirting line should be embedded in, keeping a certain height with the ground (usually between 1.5~3.5cm). This can not only extend the visual effect of the space, but also make the space larger, but it is easy to hide dust.
Installation note:
1. When drilling holes on the wall, pay attention to the direction of water and electricity to avoid damage to the electric line.
2. The skirting board can be cut into a 45° bevel at the splicing part, so that the splicing part can be tightly fitted, or use customized accessories for corner transition.
